Veterinary Specialists of North Texas (VSNT) is a referral veterinary specialty practice, providing diagnosis and treatment of cancer and diseases of the internal organs such as the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract and nervous system.
VSNT can detect uncommon or rare diseases in animals. Our doctors have a broad understanding of these complex cases. We offer diagnostic imaging equipment that is not generally used by family veterinarians.
VSNT doctors include both board-certified medical and radiation oncologists. Our board-certified radiation oncologists, specifically trained to use radiation to treat cancer, will discuss all treatment options during your visit. Our doctors are committed to caring for companion animals with advanced therapies and loving attention.
In the last decade, great strides have been made in cancer treatments. We can successfully treat many types of cancer with long-term remissions, while preserving a high quality of life. The adverse side effects of chemotherapy in pets are minimal in comparison to human cancer treatments.
We maintain a strong relationship between the pet owner and the referring veterinarian. At VSNT, we believe in the strength of the animal/human bond and support the emotional needs of pets and owners.
